The king of TRPs was on a winning streak as he won the Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Comedy Circus consecutively and decided to start his own show “Comedy Nights with Kapil”. The show is aired on Sony channel and topped the TRP charts for the initial weeks and continues to feature high on the same.
4. Papa CJ
Winner of “Asia’s best comedian”, Papa CJ sells shows in five continents. He was the first Indian comedian to be invited to perform at Just For Laughs festival in Canada and is also a regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Papa CJ is a certified laughing Yoga instructor who believes in doing charity by performing for free in hospitals and for the Armed Forces in India.
