SRK fans have another movie to celebrate with this year, Raees. The first look was released way back in 2015 and has garnered a lot of interest; the movie has SRK portraying a negative character with an edge. The movie is set in 1980s Gujarat and covers the issues of prohibition of alchohol, prostitution and illegal drugs.
7. Sultan
Release Date: July 8
The SRK Salman rivalry will continue this 2016 as they clash on Eid with Sultan releasing on same dateas Raees. However, with a wide following of their own, it looks like a mega run for theatres! Sultan is about a Haryana wrestler and is a fictional story.
8. Mohenjo Daro
Release Date: August 12
It has been a while Hrithik Roshan has serenaded the screen and he will do so in a grand manner in Mohenjo Daro. This period movie brings back the magic of Jodhaa Akbar by bringing together Hrithik, Ashutosh Gowariker and A R Rahman. The movie is set in the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation of 2600 BC and definitely bound to be more interesting than history books!
9. Rangoon
Release Date: October 14
Stunning cinematography, compelling screenplay and fantastic interpretations of classics is what Vishal Bharadwaj is best at. And he is at it again with his movie, Rangoon, an adaptation of Casablanca with Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.
10. Dangal
Release Date: December 23
Will they or won’t they boycott his movie? After his recent brouhaha over intolerance, lot of Aamir Khan Fans called for boycotting his movies but his next movie Dangal is coming up only in December. The movie about a man who taught his daughters wrestling is high on emotion and adrenaline. Will Aamir succeed again is to be watched.
